As Deputy Director of InnovationRCA Mugdha supports the growing demand for InnovationRCA services with the delivery of InnovationRCA programmes in Intellectual Property, Commercialisation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship.
Mugdha has extensive experience of innovation management in the Higher Education sector across five Universities (including Manchester and King’s College London) through roles in Intellectual Property, commercialisation and business engagement.
Before joining InnovationRCA, Mugdha was the Head of Commercialisation Development at Leeds where she took the initiative to establish a University-wide profile building networks across the institution working closely with the senior management in various faculties and research centres to raise awareness of innovation remit. The core aim of the role was to create a pipeline of commercially viable IP opportunities for exploitation via licensing and spin out routes as well as directing others towards maximising impact.
