The Architecture and Interior Design Summer School will be held from 30th June – 10th July 2023. The programme offers a challenging and engaging design studio experience, visits to exciting locations, lectures and skills training.

This year’s Summer School will be led by Tutors Dr Tania Lopez Winkler and John Ng with invited guest tutors Dyvik Kahlen Architects.

The summer school founded in 2018 attracts a global mix of participants from various backgrounds including: Student, Graduate, Architectural Assistant, Interior Designer, Design Lead, Director of Strategic Innovation, Creative Director and Researcher.

Dates: 30 June, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 July 2023, on campus

Creative Reuse in Architecture and Interior Design explores fresh ideas and research on creative reuse, led by Tutors Dr Ruth Lang, Senior Tutor in Architecture and Matthew Blunderfield, Associate Lecturer, plus leading guest speakers with expertise in architecture and engineering.

Exploring the opportunities and parameters for creative reuse in the built environment with real-world examples of creative reuse, implemented at different scales within interior and architectural design schemes in a global context.

Aimed at professionals who want to develop practical tools and the confidence to employ these innovative practices in their own work.
