Boskke Sky Planter

“Boskke is derived from the old English word ‘bosky’ which means ‘small forest’ — and that’s exactly what you can create with our intelligent, eco-sensitive designs.” Patrick Morris, creative director & co-founder

Boskke co-founders and brothers Patrick and Jake Morris hail from Matakana, New Zealand, where their family runs Morris & James, the country’s leading producer of hand-made ceramic pots and homewares.

Patrick designed the Sky Planter in the final year of his degree in ceramic design at Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design in London. The design subsequently won him the New Designers 2008 Award, making him the most highly awarded ceramic design graduate in the UK that year.

The two saw the opportunity to develop a contemporary gardening product brand, and established their London office shortly afterwards.

The studio has been developing new urban gardening products since 2007. We stand for evolved garden design, and encourage greenery in homes and workplaces. Boskke products celebrate all growing things, because we know that spaces that can sustain plants are beautiful, healthy and bring vitality to the built environment.

The Sky Planter is now sold in more than 40 countries worldwide, including the USA and most of Europe, Japan, Australasia and South America.
