Meet your hosts

Ted Huang
RCA Alumni, Curating Contemporary Art MA
Tai-Hsiang Huang (Ted) is a researcher and curator based in Taipei, Taiwan. He holds an MA in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art. As the director of A. Collective, a Taipei-based art unit, he is committed to interdisciplinary artistic innovation. Engaged in transnational artistic and cultural exchange, he cultivates cross-cultural collaborations and explores new frameworks for artistic dialogue. Huang’s practice emphasizes public participation and the role of curatorial work in knowledge creation, addressing themes of aesthetics, politics, and ethics. He undertook a residency at Taipei Artist Village, where he explored artistic interventions in local contexts. His work challenges institutional and regional hierarchies, advocating for decentralized networks and a deeper understanding of local contexts. Seeing curatorial practice as a catalyst for social and cultural transformation, he continues to experiment with new ways of fostering critical dialogue and collective engagement in contemporary art.
