Digital Direction MA graduates put on a vibrant display of multi-screen installations, virtual, augmented and interactive experiences and performances at Outernet London, that push the boundaries of immersive media.
NOW is unprecedented global warming, hyper-connectivity and the race for artificial general intelligence. NOW is intersectionality, conflict and mass extinction. NOW is standing together, establishing friendships and extending generosity to one another. NOW is healing and regeneration. It is an age of facts and fictions, hope and sorrow, inevitable change and possible transformation.
We invite you to join us for a festival of art and storytelling, orbiting around a NOW that is as much, as fast and as full of potential as ever before.
Each of our pieces raises its own urgent questions, exploring the realms of four major contexts – Earth, Humans, Technosphere, Legacies – in a celebration of immersive art and storytelling that welcomes everyone to realise and rethink the defining issues of NOW and to collectively imagine a more radiant and respectful future.
This event is part of the Festival of Communication, a series of events and exhibitions from the RCA School of Communication, which will take place on selected dates between 17 July and 4 August at RCA White City and the surrounding area, as well as at Outernet London.
Additional dates to be announced in August, September and October.
