Practice
Cato began his practice as a digital illustrator and from there moved into information design. Today Cato’s commercial practice encompasses a variety of disciplines including illustration, graphic design and spatial design. Central to Cato’s practice is an emphasis on collaboration; his projects typically involve a variety of specialist practitioners and crafts people, leveraging their skills and experience to increase the scope and possibilities of collaborative work. Cato’s current practice focuses on the creation of experimental artworks which deal with human cognition and machine intelligence.
Cato’s commercial practice has seen him work with a number of exciting brands across multiple sectors, including Facebook, Colt Technology Services, HKD, The Churches Conservation Trust, Imperial College, Lloyds Banking Group and the Department for Education.
