Katie's practice combines clay with a range of processes including animation and installation.

Katie graduated from MA Ceramics & Glass at the RCA in 2016, having previously studied BA 3D Materials Practice at Brighton University (2010).

Katie has work held in collections and has created commissions for international institutions including the V&A Museum, British Ceramics Biennale and Sotheby’s. She has exhibited, held residencies and taught ceramics at institutions nationally and internationally – including South Korea, Denmark and Germany.

As well as teaching at the RCA, Katie is a founding member of Collective Matter, an outreach group who pioneer collaborative practice through clay, and has developed a Clay for Dementia programme with the Garden Museum.
