Max exhibits widely, at venues such as the Victoria & Albert Museum, Gallery SO London, National Museum of Scotland, Gallery Marzee Nijmegen and the Design Museum in Ghent.
Max lives and works in London. Graduating in 2009, he trained as a silversmith at the RCA and at the University of Brighton. His work has been acquired by major private and public collections, such as The Fitzwilliam Museum Cambridge, the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Goldsmiths’ Company in London.
Max has undertaken funded residencies at Cove Park in Scotland and at Seoul National University. He has run workshops and delivered lectures in Germany, Brazil and South Korea and taught at several universities, including Central Saint Martins, where he is a senior lecturer on the BA Jewellery Design course.
