The London Blitz finally came to an end 85 years ago on 11 May, 1941.
To honour this anniversary, Carol Rahn from The Battersea Society will be giving a talk featuring filmed interviews with men and women who were eyewitnesses to wartime Battersea. Most were young children at the time, but their memories are vivid and their experiences surprisingly varied. Come and hear their magnetic accounts of the Blitz and of day-to-day life in extraordinary circumstances.
