The Mohammed bin Rashid Scholarship for Architecture and Design

Scholarships are awarded based on the quality of your application. We will contact shortlisted applicants from Rounds 1 and 2 by 30 April 2026, with final results shared in May. If any scholarships remain, we will then contact eligible offer holders from Round 3.

This scholarship is available for full-time, Overseas fee status students studying MA City Design, MA Interior Design, MA Environmental Architecture and MArch Design Practice.

Three places are reserved for employees of Dubai Municipality who apply to the RCA and meet its academic standards.

The remaining nine places are open to citizens of the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, and Yemen.

Fully funded (including fees and maintenance).

Step 1

Choose the programme(s) you want to apply to and check the specific entrance and portfolio requirements on each programme page. You can apply for a maximum of two different programmes for September 2026 entry.

Once you are ready to apply, visit our Applicant Portal and create an account, then follow the instructions to verify your email and set a password.

Step 3

Submit your programme application(s).

Check Eligibility & key dates for application round deadlines. Scholarships are limited and awarded early, so apply as soon as possible. Please note that applications may close before Round 3 if all places are filled.

Round 1 and 2 finalists will be notified by 30 April 2026, with final results shared in May. If any scholarships remain, we will contact eligible Round 3 applicants.
