Taking place at Battersea campus from 3-19 July, the public can experience the innovative works designed by students graduating from programmes across the School of Design and Intelligent Mobility Design Centre.

Exhibitions and events will be split into two parts. Featured programmes include:

Agathe de Saint Pierre (MA/MSc Innovation Design Engineering) presents Loop, a smart bin that offers women insights into their menstrual health. Loop also has the ability to recognise abnormal abdominal bleeding, bridging a diagnostic gap.

Harith Wilson (MA/MSc Innovation Design Engineering) presents an ergonomic prayer chair designed to aid mobility impaired Muslims during Islamic prayer. Blending inclusive design with spatial practice, they offer an innovative solution that remains respectful of both form and faith.

Daksh Goel (MA Design Products) presents The Bee Refuelling Station, a series of small modular shelters where mason bees can pause, rest and hydrate in fragmented urban landscapes.

Huili Jin (MA Fashion) presents a collection featuring trousers tailored to be easily worn by wheelchair users, addressing the oft overlooked challenge of putting them on whilst seated. Her collection is inspired by the belief that fashion should be accessible to everyone.

Alice Chapman (MA Service Design) presents numa, a circular baby and toddler clothes subscription service that repurposes deadstock fabric to create high-quality, affordable and sustainable childrens clothes.

Ellen Nacey

Ellen Nacey (MA Textiles) is a London-based print and pattern designer. Her exhibiting pieces incorporate colour theory, texture and composition to spark joy, provide comfort and encourage play.

Part 1 of the exhibition will also include works from students studying MA Intelligent Mobility as they build on a rich history of car and transport design, creating advanced concepts and designs for the future of mobility. Part 2 will include works from MDes Design Futures, exploring the ways in which we can better design for complex social and environmental challenges.
