Asadipour leads the RCA's Computer Science Research Centre, specialising in Immersive Experiences and AI. His international influence is amplified by holding Senior Visiting Fellowship positions at UNSW and KAIST, facilitating collaborations with esteemed global research labs and assuming pivotal roles in national knowledge exchange networks.
Prior to his appointment at the RCA, he worked at Warwick University leading interdisciplinary research groups on a number of national and internationally funded research projects. The outcomes of his work were showcased in events such as Science for a Successful Nation and British Science Festival and published in prestigious journals and conferences.
He holds a PhD, an MSc, and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering. His role as the digital strand lead in Digital, Health and Wellbeing Sciences programme at Warwick University led to the accreditation of a new programme (Digital Healthcare Scientist) by NSHCS and the AHCS, in 2019.
His influence is significantly enhanced through his associations with prominent research laboratories worldwide and his advisory positions within national networks facilitating knowledge exchange and transfer.
With a wealth of academic and industrial expertise spanning more than ten years, he serves as a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of technology-driven enterprises, guiding the creation of pioneering immersive technologies.
